Cable Splicing Module 1 Continuing Education Class Enrollment

Cable Slicing Module 1 will cover the basic theory of cable splicing along with the basics of hand taping. This course is the first of a two part certification. Cable Splicing Module 2 will cover how to install kits and upon completion of both modules, you will be recognized as a certified cable splicer with the IBEW Local 428.

Class Details

*Continuing Education Classes are only available for the following classifications:

Journeyman Wireman, Installer Tech, Oilfield Technician, Construction Wireman, CE2, CE1, CW6, CWOT7.

If you are classified as an Apprentice, CWOT6 or lower, CW5 or lower, UA, or Panel Installer please do not enroll in Continuing Education Classes.*

Class Deposit Terms

ATTENTION: ALL JW CLASSES REQUIRE A $100 DEPOSIT TO BE PAID ONLINE VIA CREDIT/DEBIT CARD.

The $100 class deposit is required to enroll in all continuing education classes. The $100 class deposit will be refunded upon your attending the class. If you do not attend the class, the deposit will not be refunded to you. After enrollment, if you submit the cancellation form seven (7) days prior to the class start date, your deposit will be refunded to you. Any cancellations after seven (7) days prior to the class start date will result in your deposit being processed by the apprenticeship office. The $100 class deposit will be mailed by the Trust Office to the address provided above approximately two (2) weeks after the first class.
